Welcome to the Net Waste tool

This tool will help you to:

1. develop your Site Waste Management Plan;
2. reduce the costs of wastage from the design stage;
3. optimise your waste disposal strategy; and
4. meet corporate targets and client requirements.

In order to develop a forecast and strategy specific to your project, you should tailor the default data in the tool to your own wastage rates, skip rates etc, and discuss targets and priority actions with your project team and supply chain.

The Tool extends and replaces WRAP’s Recycled Content Tool.  If you want to analyse the wastage on a project saved in the RC Tool, click here for advice.

We have tested the NW Tool extensively.  If by chance you receive an error message within the new wastage analysis, please send a screenshot to constructionprocurement@wrap.org.uk.  We also welcome feedback on how we can improve the Tool and its underlying data – particularly the wastage rates.
